INTRODUCTION TO LIFE
PETER AWESOME MEANING OF LIFE
“Life is not the total sum of gains; neither is it the number of battles won overnight by virtue of our minds, rather true life is Jesus Christ. For where there is no Jesus Christ there is no life “

Life is understood by the various people based on their values and belief systems. The word life is derived from the Hebrew word “chai” which means unity with the creator (God). Brothers and sisters from the time of Christ up to date knowledgeable people such as philosopher religious and cultural leaders have gone in to study life, but it takes only the wise to understand what true life is. In the 21st century I have estimated that, out of the six billion people that live on earth, only four percent of the people consider life as part of God plans to live; sixteen percent consider life as their wealth, achievement, success, and victory. Whiles the rest of the eighty percent consider life as a full time battle. Today my question is what is true life? On the contrary I have heard majority said that”” Life is war” Life is how you make it. Others conclude that” life is wicked etc. Brothers and sisters regardless of what others have said about life, my question is “Does all these myths concerning life, really conform to what the bible says about our true life in Christ. The bible says in (John 14:6) “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. In this book I would love to emphasize on the true life considering the Word of God, (the bible) as the accurate source of what true life is. From the scriptures, Jesus Christ presents Himself as the true life. This tells us that, none can consider himself to have life, if he or she does not have Jesus Christ, as his Lord, and savior. When one accepts Jesus as his LORD and savior, he now has the right to say, “I have found the true life in Christ”.
It is right to say that any individual who has not yet found or accepted Jesus Christ, as his LORD and savior does exist and not necessarily living. Many are those living in the world without life. They are the living dead”. Brothers and sisters, to exist in life are to occupy space and time. Living on the other hand is doing that which God ordained you to do. It is living with a divine purpose. It should than be noted that unless you have a personal relationship with divinity of which Christ, is centered as your main source of power or true living, you cannot claim the right to true living. Today if every man can realize this truth; the question that we ought to concern ourselves now is, how can we access this true life through Jesus Christ? Read John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Brothers and sisters, believing and accepting Jesus Christ as your LORD and savior, is the only way to access eternal life. The bible says in Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth that “Jesus is LORD,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. “Therefore believing that Jesus is the LORD, and confessing that He is raised from the dead, is the only way to access the new life in Christ. In 2Corinthians 5:17 the bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! “Once Christ comes into your life, you have now become a new creation with a new life; that now has full access to a new life and purpose. You are now born-again as, 1 peter 1:23 says “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”
Brothers and sisters, apart from Jesus Christ there is no life. It is mere existence that leads mankind to eternal death. Death us we all know is not extinction annihilation, nonexistence or unconsciousness as other people say. Death is a complete separation from God. I stand to be corrected among you today, but I am confident in the Lord that for any man to be physically alive and spiritually separated God he is dead indeed. Brothers and sisters, the worse form of death is the spiritual death, because a man is a spirit living in a body. And whiles his most essential part which is the (soul) lives the body, he is dead indeed, as written in Matthew 8:22, But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me; and allow the (spiritually) dead to bury their own (physically) dead.” Also John 11:25 says, “I am the resurrection and the (spiritual) life; he who believes in me shall live (spiritually) even if he dies (physically), and everyone who lives (physically) and believes in me shall never die (spiritually). Do you believe this?”
Brothers and sisters, once you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, by your belief and the words of your mouth, you now have the power to transform the situations that affect your life and the life of others. The bible says in Proverbs 18:21 “The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit. “From the scripture, it amazes me how; one can truly determine his statues either in heaven or hell without choosing the right kind of words. Remember whatever we say with our mouth carries power. Words are not mere syllables as other people say; Words are containers that carry power and build a great atmosphere around us. I am reminding of the little child who was lying helpless on a hospital bed sick and the doctors had almost given up on her and waiting that her Spirit will depart from the body. Her own family members had also given up on her and prepared her coffin awaiting the burial, but when I remembered this scripture. I stood by her and spoke life into her being. I kept saying it till the little girl regained her strength and walked out of the hospital healed leaving the doctors shocked. Brothers and sisters, the power that came into this little girl wasn’t from this world, but from the author and the finisher of our faith, whom I call Jesus Christ. The name that supersedes all names on earth .Brothers and sisters in my teachings today, not only will you lean to understand what true life is, you will become wise through Jesus Christ as my personal acronym behind L.I.F.E will reveal to you what true life is. Amen
